Move forward.

Shandi Strong, author of "Growing A Pair", shares the unique perspective of someone who struggled to fit in as a male after working for decades in an often toxic male-dominated retail business.

She did her best to manage the stresses and anxieties associated with gender dysphoria throughout her life, but discovered after finally being able to live her life authentically she found strength, purpose and passion like never before.

Being forced to leave behind a long retail management career, getting divorced, and nearly losing everything, she discovered a resilience she didn't know she had.  Advocating for her community and eventually being encouraged to run for provincial office has brought forth a passion to make a difference and a focus like never before.

The struggles of her past are in her rear view mirror. The dream to make a difference is real.
